Thank you so much for this. It looks pretty deep, so I'll have to read it closely when I have more time. Just saw it pop up and I had to reply. I really appreciate the interest in the subject.

Thank you for the suggestion! Yes I went down a bit of a rabbit hole (ADHD) and it kept growing so I missed a couple of deadlines, I've edited it down to this core article but I have material / ideas for a few more : reconciling Anarchism and Stoicism, what impact a more anarchic world might have on collapse, (pre-collapse and post-collapse) and web 3.0 as an anarchical framework of decentralisation; the early internet was anarchic and degraded into centralised monopolies and now the hope is to have flatter heirarchies with more power to the user, but not as chaotic as the early days, I think that will be a fascinating study.

Couple of notes, now that I've gone through it:

1) "Anarcho-capitalism" is an oxymoron. The term "Anarchy" has been co-opted by the free market types, led primarily by Murray Rothbard back in the 20th century. It's a deliberate attempt to take over the term "anarchist." It's a shame really, as it's a complete misunderstanding of anarchism. Capitalism requires hierarchy, but anarchy means no hierarchy. I generally just call it "anarcho"-capitalism, with the scare quotes.

2) The Kropotkin quote that you have just under his subheading. Could you cite where he said that? I think that might be a misattribution. It doesn't sound quite "right" for Kropotkin, but maybe it is.

Oh, also. The YouTube creator named Anark (also his channel name) has done a great number of explanations and lessons on anarchism, and I'm fairly certain that he's given some thoughts on scalability as well as the anarchist conception of "human nature." He's a terrific source, if you're more of a video watcher/listener.

Thanks again for going through all of this. Usually, when I recommend a serious look at anarchy, I get dismissed immediately. This is far more than I ever expected.

Thanks I'll check the source on that Kropotkin quote and have a look.

Yes, I get that with 'anarcho' Capitalism, it would just degrade into plutocracy imho

You're right, It was attributed to the conquest of bread but I can't find it in a search of the text, unless it's a bad translation I think it's someone paraphrasing him, not a quote - good catch, I will change
